Revised Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure effective March 1, 2019
Nevada’s highest court, the Nevada Supreme Court, has issued ADKT 0522, the Court’s Order Amending the Rules of Civil Procedure, the Rules of Appellate Procedure, and the Nevada Electronic Filing and Conversion Rules, filed December 31, 2018. The changes to the rules governing Nevada state courts came after the dedicated work of committee members appointed by by the Supreme Court that included LGE attorney Robert Eisenberg.
There are significant changes to the Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure, Nevada Rules of Appellate Procedure, and the Nevada Electronic Filing and Conversion Rules, which will necessitate careful review by practitioners. A link to the revised rules can be found here.
